Craft Quality Meets Proven Soil Science
When you walk through the grow rooms of the best craft cannabis cultivators, you notice what is missing. For example, there are no racks of ten-bottle nutrient lineups and no salt crust on the pots. Instead, these growers build a biologically active living soil and feed it with living soil nutrients that work with the microbes, not around them. After that, the plants take care of the rest. So Stash Nutrients was built for exactly that kind of grow.
That approach also shows up again and again on CannaCribs, the media channel that tours elite cultivation facilities and talks to the people running them. Generally, top craft growers skip the synthetic shortcuts. Instead, they choose targeted organic inputs, and they want those inputs to perform at commercial scale. Accordingly, the Stash Nutrients line brings that same commercial-grade organic performance to living soil beds and container grows.
Quick answer
What are living soil nutrients? Living soil nutrients are organic inputs, such as meals, rock dusts, kelp and beneficial microbes, that feed the soil food web instead of the plant directly. Microbes break them down and release nutrients to the roots over time, so the plant eats on demand.
Stash Nutrients came out of a grower community rather than a boardroom. The growers behind the From the Stash podcast designed the line together with the team at GrowersHouse. Moreover, one of the country’s leading nutrient formulation chemists helped build Stash Blend. As a result, the three products work as one system, so you get complete living soil nutrients without multi-bottle schedules or constant measuring.
The Stash Nutrients System: Base, Bloom and Blend
In short, each part of the system has one clear job. Stash Base builds the soil and drives vegetative growth. Then Stash Bloom takes over when flowers set. Stash Blend, meanwhile, keeps the biology switched on from seedling to harvest. Here is what goes into each bag, taken straight from the guaranteed analysis so you can compare them side by side.

Stash Base: The Living Soil Foundation
NPK 2.2-4.0-2.3Dry soil amendment and base fertilizer for strong vegetative growth
Above all, Stash Base is a biologically active dry amendment. It also builds living, nutrient-dense media and powers vigorous vegetative growth. Its nitrogen comes mostly in water-insoluble, slow-release forms, so the soil life releases it gradually rather than all at once.
- 2.2%Total nitrogen (N)
- 4.0%Available phosphate (P₂O₅)
- 2.3%Soluble potash (K₂O)
- 6.9%Calcium (Ca)
- 0.52%Iron (Fe)
Key inputs: biochar, crustacean meal, feather meal, fishbone meal, alfalfa, insect frass, giant kelp meal, neem seed kernel meal, oyster shell dust, sulfate of potash, calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, fish meal, and glacial and volcanic rock dusts.
Sizes: 4 lb, 15 lb and 42 lb.

Stash Bloom: The Flowering Engine
NPK 2.0-8.0-6.0Concentrated dry bloom fertilizer for flower development
Once plants flip, however, their appetite changes. Stash Bloom then answers with higher phosphorus and potassium to drive flower development, stacking and rich color. In addition, 9% calcium supports strong cell walls, so heavy colas keep their structure through late flower.

Stash Blend Premium Plant Additive (2-1-5)
NPK 2-1-5Soluble additive that supercharges biology, root uptake and cell walls
Finally, Stash Blend is the part that ties the whole program together. It is a soluble, bioactive additive, so it feeds the plant and inoculates the soil in the same watering. It works in organic living soil systems, and it can also run alongside synthetic nutrient programs.
- 2.0%Total nitrogen (N)
- 1.0%Available phosphate (P₂O₅)
- 5.0%Soluble potash (K₂O)
- 3.0%Humic acid
- 0.5%Soluble silicon (Si)
Plant food from: corn-steep liquor, Ascophyllum nodosum kelp extract and potassium hydroxide. Humic acid comes from leonardite.
4 beneficial bacteria: Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus pasteurii, Bacillus subtilis and Paenibacillus azotofixans.
4 endo mycorrhizae: Glomus intraradices, G. mosseae, G. aggregatum and G. etunicatum.
Sizes: 8 oz, 1 lb and 3 lb, plus 15 lb and 20 lb bulk.
View Stash BlendHow to Feed Living Soil Nutrients: Rates and Mixing
Dry amendments are forgiving. Even so, living soil nutrients still reward accuracy. All Stash rates are per 1 gallon of growing media or soil, although you can adjust them by crop and cultivar. First, check the table below. Then match your application method to where the plant is in its cycle.
| Stage | Base | Bloom | Blend |
|---|---|---|---|
| Soil amendment | 2½ Tbsp | 1 Tbsp | 1 tsp |
| New / young plants | 1½–2½ Tbsp | ½–1 Tbsp | ½ tsp |
| Vegetative | 3–4 Tbsp | — | ½ tsp |
| Flowering | — | 2½–4 Tbsp | 1 tsp |
Three ways to apply living soil nutrients
- AmendMix Base, Bloom and Blend at their amendment rates into fresh soil or media. Mix thoroughly so the nutrients spread evenly.
- Top dressBroadcast Base or Bloom over the surface of pots or beds. Lightly work it into the top layer, then water until the whole pot or bed is saturated.
- Side dressPlace fertilizer in a trench 3–6 inches from the main stem and 2–4 inches deep. Then water the side-dressed zone and the root zone fully.
Vegetative stage
- Amend soil with Stash Base before planting.
- After that, top dress or side dress with Base every 2–3 weeks as needed.
- Also add Stash Blend to boost vigor, root health and uptake.
- Similarly, a little Stash Bloom helps young plants settle into new pots or beds.
Flowering stage
- Switch from Stash Base to Stash Bloom when plants enter bloom.
- Then apply Bloom every 2–3 weeks at the flowering rate.
- Meanwhile, keep using Stash Blend to support metabolites, resin and quality.
- Finally, taper feeding as plants reach the senescence you want.
The golden rule
For liquid feeding, dissolve ½ to 1 teaspoon of Stash Blend per gallon of water and apply it as a soil drench. When you mix it with other nutrients, always add Stash Blend last. Doing so protects the live bacteria and mycorrhizae inside it.
According to the Stash Nutrients FAQ, Blend won’t change your water’s pH, so no adjustment is needed. Generally, it’s applied once a week from seedling through week 6–8 of bloom.
Storage and shelf life
First, store every Stash product in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. When stored that way, Stash Blend keeps a 2-year shelf life. Because it is made from raw organic inputs, the powder can clump over time. That is normal. Simply break up the clumps before mixing, and it works the same.
Stash Nutrient Kits: Choose Your Scale
Every Stash Nutrients kit contains all three living soil nutrients, so you can run a complete veg-to-flower program from day one. So the only question is how much canopy you need to feed.

Proof From the Field: Craft Cultivators and CannaCribs
Of course, guaranteed analyses tell you what is in the bag. Results in the garden, on the other hand, tell you what it does. So here is what happens when experienced growers put these living soil nutrients to work.
Lyra Cannabis: 1st Place at the Michigan Grow Off
Lyra Cannabis specializes in living soil and organic indoor production, particularly to maximize natural terpene expression. During the Michigan Grow Off, every master cultivator grew the exact same mystery clone. Afterward, lab testing confirmed the top three results.

Still, the most telling detail is what Lyra didn’t do. For example, some competitors changed feeding schedules or isolated their plants. Lyra, however, placed the clone straight into its standard living soil production line, with Stash Blend as a core component. In other words, the winning plant got the same living soil nutrients and the same care as every other plant in the room.
Brighterside Farms (NJ): Featured on CannaCribs
Brighterside Farms grows organic living soil flower in New Jersey, and it sells out at dispensaries within days. CannaCribs toured the operation in This Small NJ Grow Sells Out in Days (Craft Cannabis Isn’t Dead). Then, around the 16-minute mark, the team explains where Stash fits into their program.
Hit play and you’ll land at 15:56, right where the Brighterside crew starts talking Stash. Stick around until about 19:49 to hear how they top-dress their beds with Stash Base.
- Instant microbial activation. The team uses Stash Blend as an instant extract feed. As a result, clean sugars, microbes, kelp, humic acid and silicon go straight into the water, with no 24-hour brew required.
- Streamlined top-dressing. The growers use Stash Base as a complete amendment four times a year. It also replaces a complicated multi-bottle lineup.
- Root fortification. The humic acid in Stash Blend also helps stabilize feeds and support root health.

Bella Vita Farms
Similarly, Bella Vita Farms runs the Stash Nutrients line as part of its craft living soil cultivation workflow. Together, these three operations show the same pattern: simple inputs, healthy soil biology and flower that competes at the top.

FAQs
Are Stash Nutrients good for living soil?
Yes. Stash Base and Stash Bloom are dry amendments made from organic and mineral inputs that feed the soil food web. Stash Blend adds bacteria, mycorrhizae and humic acid, and it works in organic living soil systems as well as alongside synthetic nutrients.
Is Stash Blend organic?
Stash Blend is made from natural, organic-based inputs: corn-steep liquor, Ascophyllum nodosum kelp extract, humic acid from leonardite, soluble silicon, four beneficial bacteria and four endo mycorrhizae. The product pages do not list an organic certification such as OMRI, so if your program requires certified inputs, check the current label before you buy.
What are the Stash Blend ingredients?
Stash Blend is a 2-1-5 additive. Its plant food comes from corn-steep liquor, Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed extract and potassium hydroxide. It also contains 3.0% humic acid (from leonardite), 0.5% soluble silicon, four beneficial bacteria (Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus pasteurii, Bacillus subtilis and Paenibacillus azotofixans) and four endo mycorrhizae (Glomus intraradices, G. mosseae, G. aggregatum and G. etunicatum).
Where can I buy Stash Nutrients?
You can buy Stash Base, Stash Bloom, Stash Blend and the three-part kits at GrowersHouse, the retailer the Stash Nutrients site links to. In addition, the line is available in the USA and Canada.
How much Stash Blend do I mix per gallon of water?
Mix ½ to 1 teaspoon per gallon of water, then apply it as a soil drench. Add it last when you combine it with other nutrients, and there is no need to adjust pH afterward.
How often should I top dress with Stash Base and Stash Bloom?
Top dress or side dress every 2–3 weeks. Use Stash Base at 3–4 Tbsp per gallon of media in veg, then switch to Stash Bloom at 2½–4 Tbsp per gallon once plants flower.
Can I use Stash Blend in coco or hydroponics?
Stash Blend works in soil, living soil and coco coir. Deep water culture is generally not recommended because of how the ingredients dissolve, although some growers report success at lower doses.
Why is my Stash Blend clumping?
Clumping is normal because the powder is made from raw organic inputs. Break up the clumps before mixing and it works the same. Also, keep it cool and dry to minimize clumping and to get the full 2-year shelf life.
Conclusion: Living Soil Nutrients With Championship Proof
The takeaway is simple. In fact, with Stash Nutrients you don’t need synthetic salts to chase record potency or to scale up. In fact, as documented on CannaCribs, the three-part Stash system shows that organic cultivation can deliver clean flower without giving up yield or cannabinoid expression.
- Hard data: Lyra Cannabis ran the same mystery clone as every other competitor through its standard living soil line with Stash Blend. It then took 1st place at 31.76% total THC, ahead of 31.23% and 29.84%.
- Commercial validation: Brighterside Farms, featured on CannaCribs, builds its program on Stash Base and Stash Blend, and its organic living soil flower sells out in days.
- Simple to run: three dry products, clear per-gallon rates, and top dressing every 2–3 weeks replace a shelf full of bottles.
